In this talk I will present an exact limiting expression for the groundstate energy of the PekarTomasevich functional of the Npolaron when the number of electrons tends to infinity. This expression holds in the interior of what is known as the nonphysical region, in which the repulsion parameter of the electrons is smaller than or equal to (depending on units) twice the value of the coupling constant of the polaron. We also find the true groundstate energy of this functional when the repulsion parameter is set equal to zero, and the expression is valid for any number of electrons.
