In this talk I will present  an exact limiting expression for the ground-state energy of the Pekar-Tomasevich functional of the N-polaron when the number of electrons tends to infinity. This expression holds in the interior of what is known as the non-physical region, in which the repulsion parameter of the electrons is smaller than or equal to (depending on units) twice the value of the coupling constant of the polaron. We also find the true ground-state energy of this functional when the repulsion parameter is set equal to zero, and the expression is valid for any number of electrons.
